I would like to address some rumours which have appeared in internet articles about my alleged intention to move the FIA to Dubai. If elected president of the FIA, I will not under any circumstances move the FIA to the UAE. It makes no sense: the FIA is and has always been Paris-based. This is history and legacy and we must honour and respect it.
